about
The internet reigns supreme over all the land. The deluge of information and misinformation pours down indiscriminately soaking all who venture. Fact checking, propaganda, toks, tics, and friend requests overwhelm us to no end. Manipulating algorithms track our history for the highest bidder, selling us what we think we need.
Locked up and locked down during a particularly rainy night in Vancouver endlessly scrolling and clicking, Zeros and Ones took shape on an acoustic guitar. After making several slower demos with even one called “Hero’s and Bombs” the band met up at a South Surrey studio one ironically sunny afternoon and laid down the tracks for this anthemic single.
lyrics
It’s raining on my city
It makes it look so pretty
I do believe that's true
but do you?
Chorus
Zeros and Ones
look what's begun
Zeros and Ones
Can't be undone
It's pouring on my town
Never gets me down
Are they selling you the truth
Well I need proof
Chorus
Solo (over verse and chorus)
It’s reining on my city…
It's over run the world
Every boy and girl
Every single child
Every single mind
Chorus
Zeros and Ones
